I'm LaToia Jones, founder and CEO of HeySoror, proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, Xi Omega Chapter, and a builder who believes that the most powerful network in the world deserves its own platform.
HeySoror was born from a simple truth every D9 woman already knows: sisterhood doesn't stop at the chapter room door. It shows up in airports, conference halls, hotel lobbies, and city streets around the world the moment you spot Greek letters across a crowd and feel instantly at home.
I built HeySoror because that moment deserves more than chance. It deserves technology.
We're building this for every D9 woman who has ever traveled alone and wished she knew a sister was nearby. For every soror who has networked her way into a new city and hoped to find her people. For the next generation of women who will lead, travel, and thrive across the globe and deserve a platform that was made for them, by one of their own.

HeySoror uses a multi-layer verification process designed to ensure that every member is a verified Divine Nine sorority member. Verification includes government-issued ID, membership documentation, a chapter knowledge challenge, and peer vouching — so you always know who you're connecting with is exactly who they say they are.

HeySoror is built for all four Divine Nine sororities: Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Every verified member, regardless of organization, is part of the HeySoror community.

Never. You are always in full control of your visibility. HeySoror is designed with privacy first — you choose when to share your travel plans, with whom, and for how long. Your location is only visible when you actively choose to pin it on the map.
